Veterans and active duty military will be able to take advantage of a military discount offered by Target before July 4 of this year.
Specifically, they’ll be able to use Target’s military discount during the week leading up to July 4.
The national department store has announced it is extending its usual 10% Veterans Day discount to Independence Day to celebrate the holiday – and show support for the military.
Up to two purchases will be eligible for the discount – either online or when shopping in-store – from Sunday June 26 through Monday July 4.
To access the limited-time discount, veterans and service members will need to create a Target Circle Rewards account.
They will need to enter documents proving their military status.
A military or veteran’s ID would be an acceptable document, according to a news release from Target.
The company will spotlight Target employees and customers who shared their stories about why they chose to serve on the Team Target Instagram account.
In November 2021, Target offered the same 10% promotion twice before Veterans Day.
